After painting over their fading brick fireplace, the client needed a shelf for their mantle, that would both match the new coloring, as well as offer more space than the current brick lip. Using hard maple and mitered edges, the mantle overhang adds an attractive solution in their living room.

The mantle as shown is 56” long, 5” deep, and 4” tall.
